I couldn’t have imagined a better first wedding to work on with Hello Productions than Matt and Allie. Not only were they kind and genuine people, but their wedding was absolutely stunning. Continue reading to learn about Matt and Allie’s wedding and real weddings in Pittsburgh.

The day of their wedding was full of love, happiness, and fun. The bridesmaids got ready in their special, floral robes to compliment the autumn aesthetic that Allie chose for her wedding day and genuinely enjoyed the pre-celebration with “Bride” balloons and specialty cups.

Their ceremony was held at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland, which could not have been a more perfect location for the happy couple. The lighting sparkled around them as happiness radiated from their faces. And the look the groom gave the bride as he saw her for the first time was priceless and I’m sure will be treasured for years to come.

After the gorgeous ceremony of a real weddings in Pittsburgh, the bride and groom were whisked throughout the city to get pictures that will last a lifetime. They spent time in the cathedral, on the outside steps, as well as on some of Pittsburgh’s most iconic yellow bridges. They also brought along their dog so he could be included in some of the festivities.

While the bride and groom were off getting pictures, their guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the event tent behind the reception hall of Bella Sera. They savored hors d’oeuvres while appreciating the beautiful decorations including a wooden welcome sign, reminders about wearing masks, as well as finding where they were sitting with the Pittsburgh themed seating chart. Because the bride and groom live in Pittsburgh, they decided to make each table a different Pittsburgh neighborhood. The idea not only added a unique touch to their wedding, but also gave their guests a taste of everything Pittsburgh has to offer.

Once the bride and groom finished their pictures, they headed off to their reception. Upon stepping into the building, they were greeted by the stunning vision of the ballroom. Their tables were decorated with both high and low floral centerpieces filling the high ceilings of Bella Sera. They were surrounded by tealight candles and tall, gold chalice candleholders to complete the classic aesthetic. Their sweetheart table was covered in a sparkling champagne linen and lined with fresh flowers. The table was surrounded by tall candles and fresh greenery to match the ambiance throughout the room.

Their cake added yet another special touch to their aesthetic. The ombre design started at the top of the cake with a dark champagne color and faded down to the snow-white color at the bottom. Both the cake and the table were decorated with fresh flowers and the cake itself was surrounded by small tealight candles. Moving over to their classic Pittsburgh cookie table, the bride and groom decided to have prepackaged boxes of cookies for their guests to enjoy and also provided a special donation box for their future travels together.

During their reception, Matt and Allie were truly able to enjoy the company of their friends and family as well as each other. Their wedding was perfect in every way and I am so thankful that I got to be a small part of their special day.
